As in years past, Santa will take a brief pause from his Christmas preparations to visit the Level Green Community. Starting at noon on Sunday December 21st, Santa will begin riding the streets of Level Green on one of our emergency vehicles. He will be escorted by several of our volunteer firefighters. Once again, the Level Green Volunteer Fire Department is an official toy drop site for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. The donation box is located in the entrance way to the social club. You can also drop off toys with the firefighters in the truck bays on Tuesdays between 7 and 9 PM or any other time when you see activity at the station. Please do not wrap the toys. Our drop ... The past couple of months were an important period for the Level Green VFD. It was a period that annually hosts a series of our fund-raising events. In August we hosted our golf outing, and our annual fund drive was mailed. September was our food booth at the Penn Township Fall Festival. Last Saturday was our Fall Gun Bash.
